Perhaps the greatest shortstop of all-time to be sure image, but that still seems a bit high.

    This stuff seems to go in cycles. Two months ago, for instance, Puckett PSA 10's were flying out of the 'bay at $35-$40 a pop-- now you see them for $15-$20. Ditto for Favre and Emmitt Smith, who were selling in the $25-$35 range (or more) a while ago but have since cooled off. Now Barry Sanders is hot.

    I think what usually happens is someone starts collecting, gets overly enthusiastic, and bids the hell out of their favorite player for 3 weeks or so before finally cooling off. If a guy could keep a stack of about 50 PSA 10's of the most popular players and put them up when one of these frenzies ensued he could probably do OK for himself.
