German State - Sede Vacante talers

I have had some extra time to kill the past 3 weeks as the result of a broken leg. With the weather in the 90s, it is quite uncomfortable to be outside, and there is just so much TV I can stand to watch. So....after flipping through my Krause I became intrigued by the number of missing photos for sede vacante talers. Since the talers are usually quite ornate, I decided to do some google reseach to see if I could find examples of the ones missing from Krause. I had success, so this led me into a small project to try and pull together a complete set of images for sede vacante talers.

Now granted, only 3 are my own images, so I hope I am not stepping on anybody's feet. I will remove the images in a heartbeat if I am infringing on any picture source ownership issues. However, I thought the people on this board might find it interesting to see the beautiful designs, all of which were 1 year designs.

p.s. - If you think I am missing any, let me know and I can look for them. I have another 30+ images of German State sede vacante medals that I am also working on organizing.

Thanks for the compliment guys. Curiosity got the best of me, and that was the final result.

Jeff - Yes indeed its me! You have a good memory. I helped my mom out with a website a few years ago for her basement art studio (Link), and I use the extra hosted web server space as my hobby playground.

Thanks everybody. This hobby makes you do crazy things. Also - I didnt want to mislead anybody. I meant to say only 3 are in my own collection - all the other images are images I found online. This is a long term project so I have many years of searching ahead of me.

image Breaking legs is not something that is fun I know image

But that is a very cool page you made. Maybe I will convince my uncle to lend me a few of his talers to image so you can add them image
