Weekly Greysheet question.. Why Mercs and Walkers

Most of the weekly Greysheet content I can understand. Gold, Circ and Uncirc Type, Morgan and Peace... But why the weekly update on Mercury Dimes and Walking Halves?
Should it be something the market is dictating his hotter at the current time.. I would think Bust Halves.. or Buffalo Nickel would be more appropriate than Mercs and Walkers...

<< <i>Mercs and walkers were among the most heavily traded coins for the past 30 years. Even the buffalo nickels, bust halves and Peace dollars did not measure up! >>
But are they now?
Seems to me VHS tapes were very widely used 10 years ago too... But you don't see anyone using them now...

It isn't unusual for one single sale transaction over CCE or between dealers at a show to involve more than a few hundred slabbed Walkers or Mercury Dimes at one time.
