  • Zef, I'm doing a raw set of '85 football in NM. The cards are just to tough for me to try a graded set. If you want to get rid of some of them I can send a list.

    Good luck with your rips!

    OK,

The 85 box was on its way to National so Steve had to refund me for that one.

So I had the 81 3 wax rack adn the 82 wax box. The 81's were in good shape but did not get a star to speak of. So on to the 82's.

The box was awesome. Half the cards were way o/c, wjich I expected. But of the centered half there were some stars and minor stars.

    Here we go...

The LT's aren't bad - a bit more on the top but not bad - how do the corners look?

    Nice Fouts!

    The Montana IA is ok.

Did you get a Lott RC?

keep'm comin and thanx for the slide show!
    appreciate your time

Lott is about the only card I didn't get. I got a regular Montana that was way o/c and a Payton that was m/c. I got a 3rd LT that was m/c too.

The Munoz I think has a 10 shot. It was screaming 10 to me when I saw it.

I also got about 20 more commons that have a chance at a 10.

Those LT's and that Carson are going to PSA. There is one LT m/c and a Carson I don't think has a shot at a 10 that are extra.

Looks like Bert Jones is a little constipated (or valiantly trying to hold one in).

Love the 82 FB cards. Great design, too bad most cards appear to be still shots and non-action shots, except for the In-Action cards.

    Zef,

If you get a 9 on that Munoz, or if it's 9 worthy and you aren't submitting it, I'd be interested.

When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."
