Group lot or multiple single auctions for same item?

Do you find your final auction prices to be higher when you post three separate listings for the same item or one listing for all three?

I'm thinking that three consecutive auctions for the same item may cause some bidders to lay off the first or second because there's always the chance the third will finish lower. Of course, breaking the items up allows for the inclusion of people who may be reluctant to spend a larger sum, thus increasing the number of bidders. On the other hand, I think others tend to like the idea of getting quantity in one lot as opposed to attempting to win multiple auctions.

On the other hand, there's the strong probability that I'm dramatically over-examining this. image

Just looking for others input. Thanks

I think running them separately is generally the best way to go, but I wouldn't run them concurrently. Wait for the listing on one to end before you start the second, and so forth.

You could always list one and offer one to the backup bidder, as long as you save a pic with all 3 together. If it brings what you want you offer to the backup, if not you use relist and start over.
