PSA-created set combos. For example the "Big Three" = the 3 most famous Baseball card sets - T206, 1933 Goudey and 1952 Topps. The supreme challenge.

Only problem is the weighting....a T206 common is worth 5 points and a 1952 Topps Mantle is worth only 2!!!!

Frank, I agree with you about the weighting changes-----that's a must down the path a ways. I really dig this concept! There are certain sets that go together as a package. I'm looking at these or some other way to build a 'Franchise Set'. As a lifelong Washington Senators and then Texas Rangers fan-- I would like to package some small and large sets together---- very attractive to me!!!!!! I'm working with BJ and Cosetta on this concept. Tony

This doesnt make much sense. As the people that have the best of these will just get another piece of paper. This seems to be quite redundant. I wish they would spend more time updating sets instead of doing things like this. I have been waiting for some cards to be added to sets that I submitted over half a year ago.

I noticed in the football category there is a Mega-Set for 1952 Bowman Large & Small. All the larg are weighted as 2 pts and all the smalls are weighted as 1 pt.

    Shrug...doesn't excite me too much.

Funny since the smalls are really harder to come by for the most part

They need to stop wasting time on stupid crap like this and work on filling in the add requests to the current sets. It takes 4 months to get a card added - for $10 a pop for them to look at my card for 15 seconds and encase it in a piece of plastic that costs them no more than 3 cents - the least they could do is add the cert. to the players registry - it's can't be that difficult to do.

Side note: I still have not figured out exactly why I or others are so gung-ho about building these registry sets. It's like a crack addiction, you can't stop and you're spending money like crazy (many times on cards that you otherwise would have never been interested in acquiring).

Why aren't first time submission cards automatically entered to a player's master set?

If I send in, for example, an oddball wade boggs card, and it's the first one graded, why doesn't it automatically get entered into the master set?
