Wow, the mail was fast! Wasn't expecting these so quick...

Kudos to both Aspen Park and NEN for lightning-fast delivery.

I'm quite pleased with all of the coins...
  1. Great Britain Penny, 1806. NGC PF64BN. Definitely prooflike, although I cannot capture it. So how exactly do you tell a proof from a PL business strike? There's definite curvature to the fields (rising at the periphery of the coin), as opposed to being completely flat. Is that a sign of it being MS rather than PF?

  2. Great Britain Halfpenny, 1806. NGC MS66 BN. Love the lustre and toning. Some planchet defects.

  3. Mexico 1 Centavo, 1903 C. NGC MS64 BN. Rich chocolate brown.

  4. France 1 Centime, 1874 A. NGC MS64 BN. Lustrous and vibrant colorful toning. I would have been thrilled at twice the price.

  5. France 10 Centimes, 1897 A. ANACS MS64 BN. This piece is phenomenal; the pictures don't do it justice. This just serves to reinforce to me just how conservative ANACS is on Darkside material. The surfaces on this coin are better than any of the NGC MS66 pieces I have. Note to self, hunt down more ANACS pieces, as they have a tendency to be PQ compared to NGC and PCGS pieces at the same numeric grade...
