A Twofer! Never have a been able to complete two sets at exactly the same time until now.
My friend Mr. Teemu(Tom Malito) came to me with a proposal that would complete two of my sets at the same time. With some small tinkering we completed a trade that completed my 1967 Topps Football Set(number 50) and 1963-64 Parkhurst Hockey Set.
He gave me the one 67 Topps Football card I needed(Speedy Duncan) and the 3 Parkhurst psa 8s I needed as well as two upgrades from 8 to 9 and I gave him a psa 8 1959-60 Topps Hockey card he needed with two upgrades. A fair trade all around and a happy result for me. Thanks Tom!
This set now has a ranking of 8.09 on the PSA Set Registry. I will let it rest here at 4th place(Tom is 3rd).
Like almost every other set I collect, I submitted the entire set raw and upgraded those less than PSA 8 to that grade.
This represents the 18th set I have completed in PSA 8 or better since year-end 2005
My goal continues to be over 100 vintage sets each card PSA 8 or better.

Always looking for 1957 Topps BB in PSA 9!
I have never been partial to the appearance of the '63 Parkies, but it is still a quality set littered with many of the game's greats.
BTW, I enjoy it when you take the time to fill us in on how you complete your sets (ie. a simple one card purchase, a trade, etc). Keep up the good work.

FYI...you are are set of the 55B card. Thanks!
A week from Friday I will be speaking at the Set Registry luncheon. I hope to meet those of you I have not met before and certainly urge everyone to attend.
Jim
Tom ( Teemu) is great to work with. I too have done several trades and purchuses from him and always a pleasure. He has a 1951 Parkie (hockey) set that I doubt will ever be beat even by MOSH.
