Mega-Sets: are these new?

I just saw a new category under Baseball and Basketball called Mega-Sets. In baseball, only one is set up right now called "The Big Three". Is this something new? It looks like it, and I don't remember these at all. Who do I email to send an idea for a new mega-set?

One idea that pops in mind is the Goudey Mega-set which would include:

1933 Goudey
1933 World Wide Gum
1934 Goudey
1934 World Wide Gum
1935 Goudey
1936 Goudey
1938 Goudey
1941 Goudey

am I missing any other sets issued by Goudey?

  • Yes they are new. It will be interesting to watch the Dons battle for the top spot in the one that is listed now. Another set that comes to mind is a Bowman mega-set.

    1948 Bowman
    1949 Bowman
    1950 Bowman
    1951 Bowman
    1952 Bowman
    1953 Bowman Color
    1953 Bowman Black & White
    1954 Bowman
    1955 Bowman

You can certainly request them, King.

I just don't get the overall point since all the components are already listed on separate registries.
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

Five. I'd list them, but I've got to get back to work.

I don't know if I'd bother yet, but if I do --- who do I email and what's his/her email address?

    TIA
