Here is a perfect example of why I collect FB Roosies.

This coin is on Teletrade and is in an old MS66 holder. I was looking at it to see if it could be up-graded to a FB designation.

What do you think? 1976-D PCGS MS66

Doesn't look like it to me

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Hows about the "No bottom torch" Variety?

I've never owned a 1969 Philly issue Roosevelt. Even before the FB designation when my set was at 89% complete. I have never been able to find one raw at a show that was worth buying, nor have I been able to find a slabbed one (That was not >$300). I havn't seen any decent rolls on eBay. If I was looking at "Almost FB Roosies" I still wouldn't buy this coin. It virtually has no bottom of the torch visible and I just wouldn't have my Roosies looking like that.

1969 is a serious "Semi-key Date" in the 65-Date Clad Roosies. If you have one...KEEP IT!
