POS System

Do any of you out there know or use a good POS system
I would like it to be able to

1) Track customers (email, address, phone #)
2) Track customers purchases to the point where when I get some neat Packer memorabilia in and I want to call up a list of all the customers who have purchased Packers stuff to contact them
3) Email customers when new arrivals come in or we have any store specials

And while I am asking is there anything like the beckett database where you can simply check off the cards you have and then download them into your system

Lots of questions - but if anyone has something that is working for them I would appreciate any sharing

Thanks
Jeff

If you have Microsoft Access there is a quick and dirty wizard you can through for "Contact Management". Then you can use the wizards to build yourself a query and reports. You'll need to create a separate order_header / detail tables and separate forms, but you can use a wizard again if you aren't db savvy, and if all else fails you can cheat and just copy the tables from the northwind model. Or if you need some help, I could probably spare a few minutes to put one together for you.
