1974 wax pack question

In the 1974 Topps baseball 2 card wax pack, does anyone know where the gum is? Seems to me one of the cards is going to be stained, both if the gum is in the middle.
I'm considering buying a few but want to make sure I'm not buying more firewood.

I've never opened a 74 bb 2 card pack, but I have opened several 74 FB 2 carders and I have never gotten a decent card. I'd pass.

The gum will be on top just like any other wax pack. Also, I've opened a few 2 card packs from a fun bag and everyone had a traded card. I'd pass unless you can get them for nothing.
