getting your return shipment from PSA is a crap-shoot these days, the USPS being reluctant to carry our brown paper wrapped nuggets past the airport....don't rely on the USPS website either, as many have learned, you will continue to see no record of your item, with no update, until it gets delivered to you, in which case, you can go to the USPS website and discover that, yes, your package has been delivered........to you

So true. I have one submission shipped 6/28 that has not arrived yet, and another submission that was shipped on 7/5 has not arrrived. However, today I received a submission that was shipped 7/7.image

At least their shipping and the order that they choose to grade the submissions are now in harmony.

  • It's true; we are getting many complaints from our customers that the USPS is not scanning the packages. Our shipping manager has expressed our and our customers feelings about this and hopefully things will change. While USPS is making it impossible to track these, we still fee it's the safest form of shipping your items back to you.

Believe me, if we could make them do it we would as it would cut down many of the calls and e-mails we have been getting lately.

I wish I had better info for you but we are trying to our best to express our concerns over this matter.

Well since there is no rhyme nor reason that anyone can give us as to why some specials are graded in three days and some take 6 weeks, why should the post office be any different? They can just get stuff delivered in whatever order they wish, not on a first come first serve basis.

See why this is a problem?

  • My order was stated as shipped on 6/23. It finally came in on 7/10. Like you I got the run around from the USPS, when I questioned them about the package. They even told me it was shipped priority mail with no insurance/delivery confirmation. Needless to say, I was on the phone with PSA Customer Service immediately. I wish I remember who it was who spoke with me, because he put me at ease. He reiterated that PSA only ships Registered so that was the first thing the Post Office lied to me about. He then told me that the Post Office had taken new procedures with PSA with getting the orders out. In a nutshell, the Post Office was adding extra days to the shipping as part of a policy or something. He mentioned that East Coasters were taking as many as 9 business days to get their orders--mine came in on day 10. When my post officer delivered the package, she apologized for the delay as she noticed the 6/23 postmarks all over the box and all she said was 'it should not have taken that long'.
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

Forget blocking him; find out where he lives and go punch him in the nuts. --WalterSobchak 9/12/12

I'm not sure what's going on with the long delays Registered mail has been getting lately. Anything over 2 LBS (registered) is automatically going Priority mail as well. Registered cannot go parcel post. It's First Class or Priority. Sometimes it's a crap shoot with PSA. I'm also in CA, so I get it anywhere from 1 - 5 days. I recently sent 2 registered packages. One to Texas and it got there in 7 days. The other one to Florida (about 10 pounds) and it got there in 2 weeks and I was getting extremely nervous, but it got there. I'm looking into using Fed-Ex (2 day service)
  • My package arrived today, 15 days later. The USPS tracking number was never activated on the system. Greal response Carolj !

    I just want my stuff graded. . . .

I can wait for the cards to come, as long as I know what the grades are.
