Welcome (even though you've been here 2 1/2 years)

Here's a list of the cards PSA says they grade, not sure if it'll help you. I don't know about the ones you asked for.

  • Thanks Jim!

I had read that, even spoke to a customer service rep, they say that after the 3 1/2" holder the next size is the T-3 Holder (to large).

I've scanned the items in question

  • Jim,

Here's where the Newbie tag really applies. I do not know where to find your E-Mail address on this site.

I don't know the answer but I have to say...

That Mantle card is very sweet!

I don't recollect ever seeing it before and it's interesting since it has the Mick's old sig style.

That was worth the price of admission alone!
    thanx for sharing

  • Your welcome Mike!

The Mantle card comes from a game called "Challenge the Yankees" issued in both '64 and a updated version in '65. It includes 18 Yankees (Mantle, Maris, Berra) and 18 All-Stars (Aaron, Santo, Marichal). It also included blanks so you could add players.

I remember cutting up leader cards to paste on the blanks and having my Mom forge the players signature (she was very good at it).

With the announcement of the new holder sizes, I'll be sending it to grading shortly.
