    By the way, I think $10,000 needs to be declared, not P10,000. A slight difference.

  • Due to the rise in metal prices it's the sort of thing a lot of people think of but can't be bothered in the hastle of source that amount of coinage. But knowing a little of the Philipinnes I'm not surprise that the land that invented cyonide fishing have tried it. I wonder which senator(s)/governor(s) are involved and which ones shut out split on themimage

    Things like that have happened before. About a decade or so ago Nickel briefly jumped to $12 a pound and they intercepted three semis at the US/mexican border loaded with Mexican coins headed for the smelters. I think they were 100 peso coins, so it must have been before the 1992 currency revision.
