Thanks for the pics. I can only imagine what is already in that safe deposit box
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

Forget blocking him; find out where he lives and go punch him in the nuts. --WalterSobchak 9/12/12

sadly to my bank account they were all purchases.
  • Nice cards....
If it was me, No way in heck would I store them in my saftey deposit box because I would want to look at them anytime I wanted. However, without a doubt I would add them to to my insurance policy along with the rest of my collection.

    softparade,
i am about 70% there in 9 or 10 but as many collectors have written at 70% you still feel 7000% away.

as far as the safe deposit vs. insurance thing many cards are 1/1 or 1/2's which means at this time they are not replaceable so all i would do is get money back. if i wanted the money i wouldn't have bought them in the first place.

    thanks

    Wow, sensational cards czar!

Especially considering the cr*p you have to put up with from certain other 1966 registry guy(s).

    bxb,
just from one. i have no idea if you are #1 why you would start a second set in the same year but it still is his money. my theory is that he put in nusiance bids to jack others up and got stuck so much that he may as well start another set.

it is no wonder so many people have their set closed from public viewing. if he knows you need it. BOOM out comes a huge snipe.

    Great cards.

The nice thing about presenting them here is the fact that no one has a registry axe to grind - could care less - and only appreciate the stuff that is presented.

Congratulations on some really great pickups.

Thanks for the showing. Beautiful cards.

A wise move to keep them safe.
