1st 1970 Topps Maravich PSA 10 Rookie

I just noticed that someone lucky so-and-so got the first PSA 10 Maravich rookie card. It amazing that it took 728 tries to get the first one.

Any guesses on the market price? If the 9's are going between $2-3K, I'm betting $15-20K. What are your thoughts? Higher?

Also - WHO HAS IT???

    Ooooh, for a 1/1 PSA 10 Pistol Pete rookie that lots of rich dudes have been waiting years for, I think $20K is very realistic, if it's really a Gem Mint card and not one of those that "merely" meets the grading specs. You know if it really jumps off the card. I know if I was a millionaire I'd pay that much for it.

    Without a doubt this card if it comes up will go to the King himself--the legendary Hoop Oracle--Michael Rakosi.

    Others should forget about bidding as there is no way to beat Mike for something he wants.

    He even took a job as a stand-up comic to give him some extra spending money for opportunities like this.
