I think they are too think to do as issued.

Perhaps they would do the panels, although I do not think anyone has tried.

I don't have a scan of my True Value PSA 5 Schmidt currently available. Because of bends/creases/wrinkles, this is a very tough set to put together in high grade. Obviously I think the primary value right now is with player collectors.
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

The Schmidt, Jackson and Rose are basically impossibe to find in NMT-MT or better because they're on the front of the panels. The cards in the middle can be found in nice shape, although I believe the middle card is too wide for a typical holder.
  • When I was in high school I worked at a true value and we found a huge box of these in the warehouse. They were a few years old, and the promotion was over, so I took them home. Threw them all away after a couple of years thinking they were trash, and never worth anything.
    Always buying 1984 Ralston Purina PSA 9s and 10s I NEED 19,21, and 29!!!

  • Hey thanks Stone!!
I was just going to google this issue.

    RE: Condition.
Is this a classic how a collectable is created, no-one really gave alot of consideration or treated them with care?
Or is it more about how they were distributed..
I wonder if they were packaged in a wrap, or just panels?

    Thanks if anyone has insight.
Sig: Looking for a recent smr magazine, Please pm if you have one to recycle. Thank You
