PSA messed up my submission, what do I do?

I submitted 2 autographed Perez-Steele Great Moment cards for PSA/DNA authenticaion. I filled out my submission form for PSA/DNA and at the top of the form I wrote "Auto Authentication". I get my cards back yesterday and I see they say "Authentic - Great Moments Postcards". No PSA/DNA cert number. So now I'm starting to realize that all they did was authenticate my cards, not the autograph.

Did PSA really think I was spending $50 a card just to authenticate the card? Anyone else have this happen? I plan to call customer service, but I'm wondering how accomodating they will be.

It also made me realize that scammers could fake an autograph on a card, submit the card (not the auto) for authentication, get it encapsulated, and pass it off on someone less suspecting as an authentic autograph. PSA needs to do a better job with this.

I always check everything out closely once the grades are posted. That way if there is a problem you can call them up and get it fixed ASAP before the order is shipped. Now you are going to have the trouble of sending them back to PSA and waiting in hopes they right the problem.

    PSA will fix the problem.

Make sure you share your concern, as stated in paragraph two.

It could be a label mistake (I doubt it). In any case, PSA will help you.

The process for submitting PSA/DNA stuff that you also want slabbed
is WAY TOO COMPLEX, in my view. Sometimes, if you send stuff to
PSA/DNA you get it back without the slab; sometimes, if you "do it
right" and submit to PSA, you get back a "graded card" without the
    auto-auth.

PSA needs to make the instructions MUCH MORE clear
in regard to this process; the ONLY reason I know how to do it
like they want it done is because I have repeatedly done it "wrong."
I have even helped other people "do it wrong."
