Question about grading

I have never had any cards sent in for grading myself.
My question: If I were to send in 100 cards, how much would it cost me for all costs inc. shipping.
Thanks in advance for your time.

The grading costs depend on what special is going on and what cards they are. Right now the special is 1954 to 1971 $75 and less declared value graded in 10 days for $10. Last month it was 64 and newer, value under 75, no date promised, $5 each.

If you send in as a bulk commons sub, you can save $ but no hurry on the cards. I'm getting one ready now. It's $6 each for 1953 to 1971 I think.

If I sent in 100 cards in that sub it would be

    $6 x 100 cards = $600

shipping/insurance depends on the declared value. They're very reasonable for what they're shipping. I think my last sub was around $25 or something for around $1000 declared value on a bunch of 71 commons.

If you PM me a guess on what your cards are "worth" I'll get you a rough guess on shipping. To figure out the grading costs go here.

    Thanks for the info.
    Very helpful

I thought I read it right on PSA's website, but I was hoping that I was wrong.
Seems like quite a bit of money, but if it increases the value for a mint grade, its worth it.

The best thing to do is wait for a $5 special. They come around every six months or so.

Also, if you haven't joined remember that you get 6 free subs with your membership.

What you should do is familiarize yourself with PSA grading. It takes some time, but once you get it down you'll have fun submitting raw cards.

I'll try to post some scans of my favorites and get some experienced advice from the experts on here.
After I pull the Rickey Henny from the 80's wax bust, that'll get scanned for sure.
