The bider "jjfrench1938" entered 5 bids in increments of $10 to push bidder "liquidateem2004" up to his max bid of $500.05. One more bid and "jjfrench1938" will be the high bidder yet he stops, just 5 cents below the leader "liquidateem2004". This seems to have been an effort to push the bid to the max. It will be very interesting to see how this auction ends up.

<< <i>jjfrench1938 would also have no idea where to stop without bumping the high bidder, sometimes people enter twenty bids in one dollar increments, sounds like a waste of time to me to do it that way? >>
I don't know if it's shill bidding or not but frenchy did know (or should have) what the high bid was. When he bid $500, the bid only jumped a nickel.
Some of my bids have looked like that.
But, it is a bit odd that the under-bidder
stopped at only five-cents under, and
did not set a snipe.
