"Eric Gagne will have season-ending surgery Saturday to repair a herniated disc in his lower back, the latest injury to sideline the Los Angeles Dodgers' All-Star closer."

    More likely bad mechanics- he always looks like he's about to throw his arm off.

    Unfortunately a symptom of the times we live in...anyone who goes down with injuries automatically becomes an alleged steroid user.

    I heard that same comment from Jack Morris so I stand behind Kulmann. Just because no one talked about roids a few years back doesn't mean guys weren't on them.

    Gagne has always been questionable, but Wood was damaged goods since High School, from being abused at a an early stage, and poor mechanics. I didn't hear what Morris said, or anything of that ilk. What was his full quote?
