Is anyone collecting the All-Time Dolphins set?

I recently requested that Nat Moore be added. Is there anyone else that should be added? I was thinking about Jason Taylor, and Chris Chambers. Is there anyone else? Opinions...comments...

I like the Jason Taylor idea... Chambers in a couple years maybe, if Daunte can help Chambers' stats, he should be a shoe in.

I'll admit I don't even know who Nat Moore is, however I was just checking out his stats...his 74 career TD's is pretty impressive, but he never topped 52 catches in a season or even got within 150 yards of the 1,000 yard mark. He made the pro-bowl once and aside from 77 and 78 he wasn't in the top 10 in the leage in any statistical category.

Are you suggesting he get in on his 74 TD merits? (Which is impressive considering his # of catches). Is he a big name in the Miami area?

You're right, Chambers is probably will a couple of years away but is getting close. From what I remember of Nat Moore, he was a great possession receiver and caught an amazing amount of TD's for the time period in which he played. He has more TD's than many HOF receivers/TEs from his era (For instance, Joiner had 65, Lofton had 75, Stallworth had 63, Swann had 51, Newsome had 47, Winslow had 45). If I'm not mistaken, the only WR that played b/t the early to mid 70's and mid to late 80's w/ more TDs than Moore was Largent.

Greg, I dont collect the set anymore, but I was the original requestor of the set.

Nat Moore was initially on my list when I first requested it, but in trying to pare down and make sure I kept the sets the best of the best, I axed him at the last minute, mainly because of his lack of pro bowls/all-pro selections. The other Dolphin axed in my final cut was Bill Stanfill, 1973 Topps. He was a DL for the Phins, and if you're looking to add some guys who arent LOCKS, but you consider worthy of inclusion check into him as well.

Taylor I could see as well, but Chambers definitely needs more years under his belt. I always think, "What if that guy gets injured tomorrow and turns into a scrub, will I still think he belongs on the set?".

    Best of luck,
    Jason

Another thing going for Moore is he was involved in one of the coolest looking tackles in the history of the NFL.
