Anyone else going to Chantilly Virginia show this weekend? I am getting Kareem to autograph a 1984 All-Star Jersey. Walt Frazier will be there also. Schmidt, Carlton, Frank Robinson-too many autos to collect. I met Julius Erving around 5 years ago so this will be a thrill.

I'm not going to be able to get down there but if you go could you look for Mark Mulder rookies(PSA 10 for cheap if available, I'm looking for all his rookies besides his regular issue Topps and Bowman) for me? Basically, I'm not looking to drop a ton of cash on Mulder but good deals should be had knowing his awful year this season and the fact he's on the DL right now. If anyone can get a "rookie lot" of his, I'll be more than appreciative. The most expensive ones are the Refractors(really rare), but besides that most can be had for quite cheap online and I'd figure the same at a show. Just pm me if anyone can give a looksy around for me when they are down there. I have paypal so I can hit you up immediately for the cost of the cards and shipping. Thanks guys!

Just back. Once again shoulder to shoulder. Didn’t see much new from the spring show.

SGC taking walk ups any football card $15. I subbed some 65 Tall Boys - wish me luck. 5-10 day turnaround too. Now wishing I had subbed more.

BBCE Exchange had a weird set up - large group of tables up front with zero traffic and only one worker.

I didn’t find any deals other than a 2012 Topps Update set missing only the Trout 144 for $15.

how was the show? lots of dealers? I hated missing it. I had to work all weekend. I will miss the October show too due to travel baseball for my son.

We are going to Raleigh in December for that show. Thinking of going to WInston-salem.

More or less the same as the spring show except maybe a few more larger modern wax dealers. Crowded Friday, apparently not so much Saturday.

Not as many dollar box tables as past shows.

My impression was that most long time dealers didn’t have much of anything new or interesting.

There were some deals if you worked for it. Found a box of really nice 1960 Topps with semis, teams, specials etc. for $1 each.

SGC walk up customer service was first rate.

Still a large number of small dealers that seemed very disinterested in selling anything.

Counted maybe 20 Star BKB cards at the entire show.
