Madden 2005

I've been playing it for a couple of months now. I am on my 3rd undefeated season using the
Patriots of course! My question is since I lost the instruction booklet, is there a setting for difficulity?
I need to make the game play harder for me. Thanks

From what I remember go to game options while in franchise mode. There you can adjust difficulty as well as length of quarter and AI.

I don't like the "passing vision" in the new Madden. It's some bs in my eyes

When I bought my XBox 360, I couldn't wait to get Madden 06 for it. Should have read the reviews first, because it sucks...I hope 07 Madden is more like 05 was.

Well I only have the regular xbox for now, but I've never even bought a Madden for it. My buddies and I would get a keg on sundays in the fall and play Madden and watch games. Even though I never have bought a Madden game I clearly pissed off some of my buddies. Could I do it sober? I don't know. lol

I've only played it a few times, but can't seem to find the mini games from the previous versions, and it seems madden did do the announcing either?

It looks great, but the play is terrible. I haven't played it since the winter, but I don't think the mini-games are in the 360 version, which EA rushed to market to be available for the 360 launch. No Madden announcing either. I hope this year, with a full year to develop it, they will take advantage of the power of the 360 and come up with a killer version of Madden. Too bad for the monopoly on NFL games now too - if there was an NFL 2K6 for the 360 last year, I'd bet those guys would have made sure the game was amazing before releasing it.

I can't complain too much, as I was able to pick it up for $30 used...and will tie me over until 07 comes out.

Whatever they do I just hope they can make it more realistic, stat wise. Im sick of having the most yards/points in EVERY category.

No way, I quess Im not that good because All-Madden is just unrealistic the other way for me IE: 3-20 with 5 picks....10 carries for 11 yards, thats with the Pats! Im just looking for a happy medium

it came out a couple of weeks ago - it got mixed reviews my blockbuster has a tag for it, but the game is never there.

I was thinking about picking the Head Coach game up. But, these reviews aren't exactly great. Has anyone played it and enjoyed any particular area of the game more than others?

Found another problem with Madden last night - there's no instant replay call.

In last year's version you could ask for a replay - no such option on this one.

As far as head coach goes, not sure what point it serves other than to fill time until Madden comes out (and the mini games and announcing better be back).

im sticking with original xbox ncaa 07 and madden 07 this year...i dont trust the 360 versions of it...the developers are still coocoo for graphics and not gameplay....i think last years ncaa and madden are excellent playing games and ill take a roster update this year .

Gotta have the roster updates. Thats one of the things I look forward to the most.

Roster updates would be great as would an easier way to download/input a roster file with the player's names for the NCAA games.

I rented head coach. It's interesting. It takes a little while to get into the game, but it can become repetitive. I'd recommend renting it if you're bored, but I don't think it's a good game to buy.

I like the Madden franchise in general, but they all have some very unrealistic play capabilities (how many over the shoulder, 8 ft vertical leap catches does the computer allow??).
I play the packers on All-pro and totally dominate the computer. I call the same defensive play every play and have seriously sacked the oppsoing QB dozens of times during a game. Al Harris had 56 sacks for me in my last season. I sent 8 guys from my defense to the Pro-bowl. I broke every passing and TD scoring record you can think of.
This isn't meant to be bragging. I'm saying I like the game, but the computer on anything other than all-madden is pretty damn easy.
And if you take the right QB, your passing vision in 06 isn't all that bad. Plus I like the fact that you can take the truck stick for your RB and knock some skulls in this version.

i've been playing ncaa 07 for the better part of today, and let me tell you, it kicks ass.

they've revamped most aspects of the game with the biggest being special teams: onside kicking isn't "easier" but you have a lot more control. they've also made trick plays on special teams much more fluid.

i do question their "team leaders"... just because a guy is a senior, doesn't mean he is good (reggie ball still sucks).
