I'm not a fan of the all-star voting. Any opinions?

1) I never had a problem with the fans doing the voting UNTIL Selig decided to make the All-Star game worth something. Since home field advantage in the World Series goes to the team who wins the All-Star game, I rather see the best players in the game in stead of the most popular ones.
2)The final internet voting is ending today. In the American league it looks like it is going to come down to AJ and Liriano. I'm a ChiSox fan living in MN. With this said, I've received emails from the Twins the last few days reminding me to vote for liriano. When I logged on to MJB.com to vote (I actually voted for AJ), I realized that you can vote as many times as you want. What is stopping someone from sitting at their desk and voting all day long for their favorite player? It doesn't make sense to me!
