Nice buns from Colin Cooke, Part II

Once again my photography leads something to be desired. This is an 1873 with "Normal 3," though its pretty darned close to a low 3. The coin is prooflike and full lustre, but very difficult to capture.

There are so many microvarieties of this coin that having "duplicates" is a matter of opinion. I now have 3 varieties of just this date:

    Low 3:

Higher 3, both wide and narrow dates:

OK, fess up (isn't that Wyomingspeak?), did you pop for the 1869? All of the sudden that date has a lot more respect, but definately needs visual appeal for the big numbers.

    Very nice '73!!!

    Indeed!! Everyone is awaiting Parts III through L . . . . . image

    BTW, exceptional 1873. image

If the Cooke images had been shot by Phil, I'm afraid prices may have been even more stratospheric. image

Sorry folks, Part II is the final installment.

Purchasing the 1869 would have meant a looonnnngggg "discussion," if you know what I mean.

great addition Wybrit and don't be so critical of the photos when there are those such as myself that would be pleased to post a picture as nice as yours.
