1950 and 1951 Unc Great Britain Penny prices.

I bought a couple of uncirculated pennies and was wondering what the accurate prices are for these years in red and with full luster with no spots. Is krause a good guage of these years? -Dan

Spink prices: £40 for the 1950 and £60 for the 1951 in full red BU. These are ridiculous prices, quite frankly. The 1950 should be worth more than printed and the 1951 far less.
I had some AU-UNC examples of both dates once upon a time (which I got in an amazing bulk lot, for a dime apiece!)
The 1951 coins I had were sort of yellowish-red brassy color instead of the usual orange-red, as I remember. Might've been a pecularity of that particular lot.
I like your 4-ducat icon. The 1915 4-ducats are the kings of bullion gold, IMHO.
pulled out of circulation in trhe mid-'50's. Had to let them go very cheap in trades just to
get rid of them.
