I had no idea until today that Northwestern Football Coach Randy Walker pased away of a heart attack on June 30th at the age of 52...

Very, very sad news.

    I heard about this as well, and have to imagine that football coaches are the ones most at risk for this type of death.

    When I hear of coaches getting 2-3 hours of sleep a night, and the immense stress of not only running a football program, but having to be successful to keep their jobs, it's a wonder more don't pass away in the same manner.

    taking over after Gary Barnett was no easy task... He did a great job of making Big Ten football exciting
