I bought a '78 OPC set for $45. Certainly NM-MT overall, and some definitely gradeable stars, such as Yaz, Carlton, Schmidt, Rose, etc, possible 9's. Some minor stars are possible 9's. The Murray is badly off center, so it's not worth much and needs replaced.
Did I get a decent deal? Almost all of these cards have super sharp corners and gloss......the only issues are some have tilts and are off-center, etc. (would estimate about 30% of the set is like this).
Stay classy,
Ron

<< <i>the commons aren't worth the grading fees in 9's right now so I would say hold off or grade them if you are willing to wait and have them ready for the next opc buyer to come along. that happens once every 2 years >>
Don't waste your time or money with the commons.
