Help with a French brass jeton of Louis XIV?

I am assuming this to be circa 1685-1715 but would like to narrow it down some and find out anything else I can. I am pretty sure it is a contemporary piece- in my webcrawling, I found one with a similar portrait and obverse legend that was attributed as circa 1700.

Sorry for the poor scan. The pic might look a little grainy since I sharpened it to bring out some of the details.

Obverse: bust of Louis XIV right, ". LVDOVICVS . MAGNVS . REX ." Initial "N" below bust.

Reverse: caduceus with branches of some sort (which I think I've also seen on some Central/South American coins? The branches, that is, not the caduceus) surmounting three (water jugs? a fountain? goofy-looking cannons?),
". VICTORIS . CLEMENTIA ." (Merciful Victor? Victory With Clemency/Mercy? Which victory?)
