    .........Contraras, of course is working on two seasons. He has been lucky lately, pitching some poor games in which he got no decision.

    Is anyone here pulling for Contreras to break the record? Personally, I never like seeing names like Hubbell wiped out of the record books...
    Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

    I agree. Contreras isnt all that great. it's one thing if it's pedro or maddux...it's another when it's a halfway decent pitcher whose been luck because of run support.
