Anyone seen Duke Sniders autograph lately?

I have been looking at adding one of his autograph cards to my collection, and I saw one out of the wonderful Team Topps cards that came out of '06 Heritage. I know he's getting older, but it's really hard to tell that it is his signature anymore. It used to be a really nice flowing sig, but now it's shaky and hardly legible.
My question is does anybody think that it hurts the long term value to have one of these shaky sigs compared to one he did a few years ago, or is a Snider auto a Snider auto regardless?

I agree - that's not a nice auto - I don't like the stickers and it looks like he had to squeeze his sig onto the sticker?
Not very nice.

Wish it were scanned a bit sharper - what do you think?

I saw that one too. The Team Topps I saw at a shop yesterday was on a sticker. Maybe he just needs a bigger canvas to make his art. I think I'll keep looking until I find an affordable one on the card.
Sadly, the market is over-saturated with his -
and many other star players' - autographs.
In 1961, I recall that my friend's father bought
a 1960 TOPPS signed by Snider; the man paid
$95.00 for the item. (That unsigned Snider card
was hard to come by in packs, but it could be
bought from shops for around $2.50, in "circulated"
condition, back in 1961.)
A fun "metals-price timing fact;" The 95
silver-dollars spent on the Snider sig in 1961,
would have brought about $3000+ in early
1980. Today, the 95 soldiers would bring
about $1000+. The subject Snider card was
not a "good investment."
Today, Perez-Steele PSA/DNA slabbed Sniders
can be found on feeBay, for <$40.00 delivered.
All of mine are slabbed, but it might be better
to buy ungraded P-S autos and have Knuckles
or some other card builder cut the sigs and
make unique cards. P-S Sniders often go for
about $15.00 on "the venue," and they are
VERY crisp with no line breaks; far prettier
than the sticker in this thread.
My pictures are too big to download, and I
cannot figure out how to make them smaller.
I may put some on feeBay later next week just
for "show and tell." (I do not want to sell them,
so they will be priced REAL high.)
I would never buy a Snider sig that was not
at least as nice as the best Perez-Steele
examples.
