It's a great reminder of all that the little ones bring into our lives. My first grandchild is just over 4 months old and a constant source of joy...and drool...and poopy diapers...and etc. etc. Wouldn't trade this experience for anything!

My wife gave birth to our baby girl on June 21st. The odd thing about it was that our son turned three years old that day. Since this is going to be out last child (two is enough for me), I'll have to be very careful during the later part of the month in Semptember as it seems like that is when I slip up!

<< <i>You didnt name him Brian?? I guess your wife said enough was enough? >>
I figured I wouldn't torture the kid with my obsession!

I will post a couple once I get them off my camera. And yes this is our one and only! The little woman only wanted one and with me at 37 and her right behind we don't want to push our luck. She works in the OB/GYN field as an ultra sound tech so she knows the increased risks as women get closer to 40. He is healthy and perfect and we aren't greedy so we will be happy with just him!
Our second is coming in December--again-- and I think this one is the last. We're both 34, and like you said all kinds of nasty things can start to happen as the mother's age advances.
That's awesome! Congratulations. My mom's birthday is on 7/3 too. You;ll have to tell him that the fireworks are for him
Good luck, and as someone mentioned sleep, well, good luck
Enjoy!

Sounds like you had your own fireworks!! Congrats!!

We laughed and said he will think it's cool until he hates us for lying to him all those years
There is nothing better. My son is 3 1/2 and daughter 2. They are so fun! Of course they both like to rip packs open... and I do mean RIP them open!
My son is 20 months and we just found out that we have another one on the way. I'm 38 and my wife is 33. This will be it for us as well. Glad to see another healthly little one. Awesome.
