Signatures on pennants

I've been thinking of getting an Angels pennant from the 60's to accumulate autographs from Angel players of that generation. Does anyone know if they are easy to sign? Do the autographs display well or do they start to bleed into the fabric?

Any other suggestions such as a pennant to gather autographs on? I thought of a helmet but it is hard to find one, even a souvenir one, with the 60s logo. Looking for something bigger than a baseball to display in a small (house) bar.

I've done it with minor leaguers. With the right fonted sharpie it looks beautiful.
