Beer and grilling followed by a bottle of SoCo and some mohitos. Then off to the US Capital to watch the fireworks.

Where you live? We did the South Lawn White House two years in a row. DC/VA/MD is spectacular with all the different fireworks displays.

Oxen Hills/Temple Hills area right on the border of DC. This is the first summer I've lived up here, most of my summers were spent in Ocean City md. I'm hoping for a great time, I know the following morning I'm leaving for a long weekend down in OCMD.

me and the wife will walk over to north ave. beach in chicago and take in the light show with some lite's in hand

This year - very simple...

hot dogs - homemade potato salad, and baked beans.

My son is coming over - he's gonna help me put a shelf together that I got a Sam's.

That's it!

umm, I think that might be illegal in most states although in some cases it might be warrented

Neighborhood family softball in the AM.
Kid's bike parade later.
BBQ/Pool party at neighbors after that.
Fireworks at dark.
Oh ya, beers all day.

BTW, we will be taking the canoe out for a spin in the morning - that's me waving at ya!



We were going to stay at the Beach House for the week but it's being renovated.

So, I guess we'll have to drive home.
