Cleaning Old Display Boxes

I recently won what I believe is a 1948 Bowman empty wax box. Rare piece, but it's really dusty/dirty. Does anyone have any guesses on how to clean this baby?

That's a fair question, and I wouldn't know. Griffins has a lot of experience with display boxes, but, when all is said and done, you've got a 50 or 60 year old piece of paper. I'd try using a blow dryer on low and cool to see if that helps, but I can't imagine what else you might use on it to clean it up. Nice piece though. If that dust could talk....

Take it to or call a photographer who restores old photos. He'll have some answers for you.
