2006 Topps Series II question

This is probably a dumb question, but need to ask. I have a 2006 Topps Jon Papelbon rookie that is embossed in silver - including the Rookie Card logo. Anyone know what this is?

I have the same card. I am wondering too.

I read on another message board that Topps forgot to put the rookie logo on when printing the cards so they just put it on in silver instead. Not sure if this is true or not, but thats what I read while researching the same question.
