does anyone use stamp software

Just looking at ebay for stamp books and saw some programs ie ezstamp. does anyone use these or is it still best to buy the book. And while were at it any recommendations for books?

    The 1st book I'd get would be a Scott catalogue. Everybody talks in Scott nrs. Also, there is a book called Stamp Colecting For Dummies plus, a great source of info is Linn's Stamp News. As for the software, I've never even heard of any. What do you do with it concerning stamps?
