Joe Buck may replace James Brown on Fox NFL pregame show

James Brown left a few months ago, Fox is still looking for a replacement and Joe Buck is the latest rumored candidate.

A decision will have to be made fairly soon.

    Joe Buck is the most annoying sports announcer ever. I'd rather listen to a chainsaw buzzing during a game than listen to that jerk.

    I watch it every week, I find myself channel jumping between commecials with the CBS pre game show.


    From what I hear Terry, Jimmy and Howie will have major input into who is hired to fill James Brown's position.
    It makes sense since they have to work with the person every week and they are going to have to feel comfortable
    in the ability of the new person to interact with them on the show.

    Joe Buck should stick to baseball. The only baseball announcer I could tolerate doing football was Vin Scully, and even that souded wierd.

    I'm glad I am not the only one that noticed that.

    It must have been really sad for him and McCarver to announce their beloved Cards getting their ass kicked in the 2004 WS!!

    I'd like to see him quit that sport too. He sucks.
