Anyone else getting their May/June sub in at last minute?

I just sent my May/June special in today. Anyone else waiting until the very end? I saw one person that got their submission entered and shipped in one week. Any chance the graders have caught up and making the quick turn around?

What's your best guess? Will I be pleasantly surprised or killing myself with anticipation? image

I always procrastinate until the very last day... and usually get a pretty quick turnaround. I'd guess that you'll get your cards back within two weeks.

Yes, I will be sending one in the last day of the month.

I have one on its way back from PSA and I figure I'll squeeze another in tomorrow.
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

I've got one for 110 cards to go out but have been waiting for a previous one. I sent a 60 card order out May 31 thinking it was only a May special and it still hasn't been graded..uugghh!!

I am working on a 100 card submission as I type this. 1970 Topps, 1978 Topps and some stars from the 80's (not for a registry set). This will be my 7th or 8th sub since May 1st - about 1 a week - somewhere in the neighborhood of 500 cards total. The quickest turn-around once logged at PSA was 2 business days, the longest was 9 business days. Funny part, not all of the subs were graded in the order they were received - it was very random.

writing out stickers as I read this....only 80 cards..in the mail in the am..

Also sending a bulk 1000 card order tomorrow too...let's see how THAT turnaround is...lol

I've been up since 4:00 am preparing submissions plus I spent all day yesterday busting open boxes. Nothing like waiting till the last minute!!

I sent two in yesterday, most of the stuff for my sets - 84 fleer update, 84 and 85 donruss, some oddball stuff (80 Burger King, 81 Coke), and some 81 topps just because they looked nice

I sent two in on 7 June. One was a 12 card order for renewing my membership. Received that back this past week. The other was under the $5 special wasn't logged in until the following week. Still Nothing. Send a third one in on the 23rd logged in the 26th. Both $5 specials were 40 cards each. I also have read of the quick turn around time and am hoping for the same. I think with the end of the special today there will be a glut of last minute submissions so turn around will be slower.

Looking for 81-84 Topps Stickers in PSA 9 or better, 81 Topps Scratch offs, 83 Topps Fold outs in PSA 8 or better, 83 Fleer Stamps and 81/86 Fleer Star Stickers in PSA 9 or better.

I sent in on Tuesday, received yesterday...I see they just charged my CC but it's not entered yet. Hopefully I get the quick turnaround as well. I'll have anoter sub getting ready tomorrow for the July special if it's really the $10 1954-71 special I've heard about.

OK, anyone ever sent one in a day late!?

Results, or just a problem submission?

I've been on vacation and would like to send one out. Saturday morning (July 1). Is this advised, or am I screwed?

Input appreciated. May save me some work tonight!

    Thanks, Fellas!

I sent in my first ever sub today, started with almost 500 cards I wanted to send, scanned them all at 600 dpi, narrowed it down to about 200, scanned again at 1200 and sent in 45.

Hoping for some decent grades, but nervous.

You should invest in a 10x jewelers loupe. You can snag one for under $10 on Ebay. That'll save you the time and hassle of scanning all those cards.

Just got the "Thank you for your PSA order" email. Cards recieved: 7/6. If turnarounds are as good as a few folks have been posting, I might be seeing my grades post by next week. No unusual cards that would slow things down... unless the grader has never seen 80s Mothers Cookies cards before. image

My 30 card submission was received JUNE 6th, and I've got nothing on the special.

Seems if you aren't lucky enough to get grades in a week, you get put back 10 to 12 weeks.

    Yuk!

I had NO idea they didnt do these! I thought for sure I had seen them before on ebay. That one I expected a 9 and maybe even a 10!!

Wow, 1981's are tough. I thought if I got enough 9's on the Drakes I would have tried for a set of 9's. I think I will give up on those. I really expected much better on those. They are the sweetest graded 1981 Topps product in an 8 that you will ever see!

Overall, Im fairly satisfied. I normally am closer to guessing my grades but I guess my eye wasnt quite as sharp this time.

Nice group of cards and great turn around. I concur with the get it turned around real quick or it gets stuck in the back of the line. My first order in June popped in 5 days now I have one from middle of month not back and I have another I mailed on June 28th that has not been received yet. Customer service told me they received 300 orders after July 4th holiday related to the June special. I just hope my order gets logged in soon.

No sooner did I post my message and leave a message for customer service, my order now shows as received. I always get nervous that the package could be lost until it is received so at least I can relax and starting the waiting game. 5Stat hopefully you have the same luck today. That is a couple of big orders.

Sent an 60+ card order on the 30th. Doesn't show as received yet. I was also dumb enough to forget to write the type of submission on the outside of the package. This has been the biggest reason for slow entry into the system in my experience. I assume PSA pushs us knuckleheads to the back of the line. No hurry though. It's a quirky mix of modern shiny stuff, so the turnaround will likely be slow anyway.

Sent 2 different subs for the May/June special on the 30th. A 50 card lot and a 75 card lot. Both recieved 7/5/06, but not logged yet.

Just an FYI...I had a submission voucher for 5 cards that I attached, well I had no idea these things had an expiration date. PSA was quick to contact me though. So, if you have any vouchers, be sure to keep an eye on the Exp date.

My smaller order posted last night...the big one still in limbo, although it is there.

As for the vouchers, yup..a pain for sure..especially when you get one or two vouchers at a a time. You want to save them up and send all in one box...but you can't forget them sitting in yet another pile on the desk. lol

Going back to an old thread....I'm back up to many many a pile stcaked up...over 40 to be exact. A custoemr came in with his young son the other day. The little boy looks up at me and asked "does the messy monster live here?"....."he comes to my room too!!"

    I had to laugh...

I usually use the vouchers for credit on my subs, you don't need to send them separately. not sure if everyone knows this. makes a lot more sense than paying $12 shipping for 2 cards at $5 submissions

I sent in a hodge podge order on June 29th that just recently posted as received. The order includes some 78 Donruss KISS cards for my registry set. I mention that because everytime I include 78 Donruss KISS cards, PSA takes 35 years to grade my order. A number of 78 Donruss KISS have been graded now; I don't know why it still takes so long for them. I expect a long, long wait.
