Although I totally agree with your statement, please add a coin for sale, or to trade or some coin you want, or this thread is OT.
I need to be far as I just explained to a relative newbie that these types of thread should not be posted here.

Not a good example, maybe that's why newbies think it's alright to post OT threads here? image

    OK.

To make it topical, who needs some BU 1955-D quarters?

I have approximately 1-1/2 rolls of them. Really nice coins, most if not all being lustrous and white, as I recall. I'd like to sell 'em off in half-roll lots, perhaps, or maybe 10-pc lots. I have no need for so many, beyond maybe three or four pieces for myself. I just bought them because they were hard to refuse at the price.

Many of them look at least MS64-ish to me. Maybe a 65 or two in the mix, with the majority at least 63. I would package the lot without using any magnification to look at them, meaning (with the way my eyesight is going lately) that they'd be "unpicked", in a way.

I might swap some of them towards some mixed-date BU Wheatie rolls, or single raw 19th century type pieces, or older Darkside stuff in bulk, or... ?

I agree. I did a trade transaction with him last year and could not have been happier. I think he was happy, too. image
