How about a spam button on the boards?

Craigslist has a spam hyperlink on each post. Theoretically, if enough people label a post as spam, craigslist reviews it and pulls the post if appropriate.

Seems like CU should consider a similar hyperlink for each thread. It might be a way to keep spam on the appropriate boards, but I guess CU doesn't want to take an active role in monitoring the boards.

One feature I think we would all benefit from is an 'ignore' feature, which would allow us to have all posts by any given poster we have put on 'ignore' removed from view as soon as we log in. It's a life saver on some of the other forums I participate on, and I think most of us could put that feature to good use here as well.
