The Other Rookie Cards....

I want to try to pick up some different regional/restraunt/etc. rookie year, or there about, cards of players. I was looking at the 1986 McDonald's Jerry Rice which I had never seen before. I already have a 1976 Crane Disc Walter Payton. I was trying to think of some others. I think this would make a pretty cool graded collection. Let me know what you think and if you know of any others as I am sure there a lot.

Be careful on the Emmitt. .....there are a lot of fakes floating around, even fakes that PSA graded. Make sure it has the R trademark on the right side of the large BK logo on the top right of the card

The '89 Lions Police Sanders card, I think I have a few, but I may be incorrect. Is it the same one where Sanders is pictured with Wayne Fontes? I would have to pull them out to make sure, it may also be an Oscar Mayer card. I know I have some with a white border, and some with a yellow border if I remember correctly.

Thanks for the tips.

fsjeter- I had never seen those 75 hostess cards before. That also reminded me of the 1975 SSPC Yount and Brett. I know all of these are thought of as junk, but I already have rookies of most everyone so I thought this may be a chance to get something different that a lot of people may not know about and also rookies in high grade.

The sanders is the Oscar Mayer you are talking about. They are pretty cheap on ebay but if anyone here has them for sale I will surely consider it.

The Sunoco stamps, especially of Staubach and Dierdorf, and the '70 Kellogg's O.J. Simpson and Lem Barney cards, were the first things I thought of.
