Home Metal Detecting

Don’t bust my chops for not posting much anymore… ;)

I’ve been out when I can this year, and mostly night hunting due to my family schedule, but, some recent events in my work office (starting last week) have allowed me to work from home for a few weeks and that’s much more conducive to getting out for more detecting time.

Along with all the trash, I was also able to pull a couple other oldies from the early 1800’s including another early gilt button with writing on the back (“Extra Rich Colour”).

I’ll be posting more finds from this site soon…

HH,

Rick

I read an article on the phoenix buttons somewhere, once. W&ET, I think.

You haven't been the only rare Yeti to vanish in the mist, Riccar. I'm only just emerging (perhaps only briefly) from my own long absence.
