Dumb guy of the week award

Hundreds of these auctions for autographed cards.

Dumb Guy

Only one problem, the cards in the scans are not signed. In the most recent ones he finally added this text:

The card shown above has already been SIGNED and AUTOGRAPHED by [player]

Please note that the above card is a "example" of the card you will receive. The actual card received is the same card as shown above but has ALREADY been signed and autographed and has been obtained through a legitimate dealer.

Today he's sitting around scratching himself wondering why no one is bidding. Personally, I think it's the 7.75 s/h that's killing him.

  • LOL.. i just happened to check that link when there was 1 minute remaining.. he sold nothing at all.. not even 1 bid.. what a tool.
  • Not one person bid. That is hilarious! Never seen anything like it

Thought I was going to open a thread about stown.

But who does he think he's going to get with crap like that?

Oh My. He has 397 of these cards ending in the next 20 hours. I think I might bid on the Roman Gabriel from the ST LOUIS Rams.

I like when guys with a total feedback number under 100 use the first person collective when discussing their policies; e.g, 'We don't do this,' or 'we don't do that', the implication being that there's a throng of corporate bean counters behind these auctions, as opposed to a desperate collector looking to unload before the divorce is finalized.

As far as the Ebay dumb guy HOF goes, the first man to be inducted should be the guy from a year ago or so who put upindividual auctions for something like 300 1987 Topps baseball commons, each with gallery and bold type with starting bids in the $1.79 range. It's tough to beat that, although this guy certainly makes a run at it.

Well, dumb guy ran 3000+ auction before he got NARUd. Now he's yopee45 with over 12000 auctions completed/running.

    Ebay's not fun anymore.
