BRASS DIME? PICTURES

What do you guys think? Is it real? Havn't had a chance to weigh it yet...

    Most certainly doesn't look like Brass, and if it were, I'm 99% sure it'd be a counterfeit.

    I have some brass seated dimes. I can't remember the dates, and I'm at work right now.
    They are struck counterfeits, from hand made false dies. You can examine the coins and see the flaws.
    They are contemporary and were made to circulate.
    The counterfeiters would plate them in a silver wash.
    They would put good silver in acid until the acid was charged, then swish the bad coins in it until they were coated.
    It didn't take much circulation to rub off this plating.
