Grades popped and I am happy :-)

Just wanted to share my grades with those that care. I have been looking to upgrade my 1947 Tip Top bread set so I purchased a group of cards from the Sportcards Plus auction last month and graded the cards that could help my set. I know many of you will think this grades stink, but these cards are very hard to find much less in high grade. PSA has only graded two PSA 8's and two PSA 7's before this invoice, so this was a big bonus.

I forgot to let you know that I cracked out four SGC cards and PSA graded them one grade higher on all of them.

    Shane:

I think that is a very impressive set of grades from a very tough set. Congrats

Thanks MS- I knew that you would appreciate them. I think I am down to 53 cards to have an all PSA 2 and higher.. image. I missed out on a very high grade set 2 years ago in Mastro that belonged to Bogner. He had some of the highest quality ungraded material out there. I bought his 1934 Batter up set and it was really incredible.
I was very pleased to see 32 upgrades for my set.

    Thanks,
    Shane

    VERY nice job!

You've got to love it when you can make such a huge advance on a very tough set! Again, nice going!

    Shane:

Do you collect any sets that you can easily find 8s, 9s or 10s?

Or are you just some kind of card collecting sado-masochist?

Frank- the cards are Queen SGC 50
    Byrne 50
    lindell 60
    Robinson 50
    Reynolds 40

MS- I do collect some sets that can get PSA 8/9/10, but not very many. I don't have many registered sets right now that can be found in high grade. I sold three of my registered sets and one of them was today.
