Help needed on Ebay fake coin.

I bought a coin ( Sovereign ) on Ebay and the coin is in fact 1/2 Sovereign size and is an obvious fake in hand. I paid about Euro 116 for it which was an OK price then if indeed the coin was a real Sovereign.
I mailed the seller a few times to ask if I could get my money back and he replied on my 3rd mail that he would refund my money.
I asked him for his address so that I can return the coin and also provided him with details for returning my money.
Over the last few weeks I have send follow up Emails to ask for his address and to ask when the money will be paid into my account.
I set a dead line for last Sunday night but no reply.
What should I do now - my gut instinct is to Neg him and report him to Ebay ( also to see if I can get my money back through Ebay ) but I'd like to handle this properly hence I seek your advice.
The sellers name is secursight, feedback is ( 846 ).
Any opinions appreciated.

How did you pay for the coin? Cash, check, money order or paypal? I thought there was some buyer protection through paypal?
Just be aware that negs will just be returned in retaliation if the seller has not already left feedback. Sounds like it might be worth a neg though

Looking for alot of crap.
In my experience, unless you know the seller, or have a history with them (previous sales of similar magnitude that went well), the only way you should ever pay for anything on Ebay is via credit card through PayPal. That gives you 2 layers of protection should things go awry.
I know there are a lot of readers here that are anti-PayPal, but it's situations like these where check, money order, or cash leave you hanging high and dry.

<< <i>Query: I know that bank transfers as methods of payment are more routine in Europe and elsewhere (here in the U.S. they are unGodly expensive). Is there any protection in the event of fraud? Will the bank recover your funds if you say you never received the merchandise or if there are problems, or are you out on your own? >>
Usually not. If you have transferred the money, it's gone, at least here in Germany.
