  • i'm not sure but i think i might have seen a crease.. look real closely and you can almost see a faint crease and i think the top left corner might be a little soft, but don't hold me to that.

  • You all laugh, but that's the famous 'Origami '66 Mantle'. It sold in Mastro's last auction for 1900.78 dollars. Here was his description -

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. This Mantle is nearly pack fresh except for some light touches at the corners. I'd say it would grade a PSA 8, but that's only an estimate. It catches your eye the first time you look at what's left of it and does not have a beard drawn on with pen. Check 707's inventory to see like examples in even higher slabs. This is an heirloom you can pass down from generation to generation if you use the DMV's laminating kit. This card once resided in Fran Tarkenton's collection and comes with a C.O.A. from Fran himself although he spelled his name wrong. Don't miss a chance to own what might be the most fragile example in the whole world. Plus, your moths are just going to love it." Est. 2000 - 4000 US Dollars.

Every Mantle needs a home, (even the ugly ones), but that price is absurd. Id give $10 or $15 for it.
  • What's the red horizontal line at the top of the card? I've never seen a 66, even a very off center one, show a red line like that before. Any ideas?
